Maui '06 - Page 3 - Ayers' Photos

May 2006 trip to Maui. Wailuku, Hana, Lahaina and Wailea. I get the dunce award for deleting about 12 pictures that I took of Wailuku and the raod to Hana as well as the 400 ft tall Waimoku Falls (with a walk through the bamboo forest) way cool but no pictures any more :-(

Ayers > Green Sea turtle. We ran across this guy out in the open water. We dove at a place called "Turtle Town" where we saw a bunch more. I don't have pictures but we were treated with a pod of bottle nose dolphins that swam with us for a while. I think they were more interested in us than the other way around.

Ayers > This reminds me of Gilligan and the "three hour tour"... Hmm....

Ayers > After Lahaina we stayed at a resort hotel in Wailea. Wailea is all resort porerties but is pretty nice. After Hana and Lahaina, we wanted to do the luxury thing for a bit. This is the view out our room. Hard to see but it's right next to the water.

Ayers > Ulua Beach next to the hotel. A neighbor told us to visit this beach while we were here. This was her favorite beach. turned out it was right next to our hotel room. Act

Ayers > No exposed skin = no sunburn. Luckily I saved my burn for the last day so I did not ruin my trip.
