May 2006 trip to Maui. Wailuku, Hana, Lahaina and Wailea. I get the dunce award for deleting about 12 pictures that I took of Wailuku and the raod to Hana as well as the 400 ft tall Waimoku Falls (with a walk through the bamboo forest) way cool but no pictures any more :-(

Ayers > Trail from the raod to Hamoa beach. It's technically owned by the Hana Maui hotel but it is open to the public
Ayers > Hamos beach. It was cloudy this day and had rained earlier. Rainy days are just as warm as the other days
Ayers > Vendor stall on the raod at Hamoa beach
Ayers > Canoe carving under the banyan treee in Lahaina. The festival of canoes was going on in Lahaina and carvers from various south paciific island were carving out canoes from solid logs.
Ayers > Pioneer Inn in Lahaina. Lahaina is a tourist mecca like Fisherman Wharf just with better weather. The pioneer In is a historical hotel at the main horbour there. The garden court yard is nice and the pool was nice.
Ayers > Snorkel trip from Maalaea harbor. We choose a small boat to go out on to avoid the crowds
Ayers > Margo and "Captain Fish" (his real name btw)
Ayers > View back to west Maui
Ayers > Captain Diane at the helm
