Me next to the falls - Ayers' Photos

May 2006 trip to Maui. Wailuku, Hana, Lahaina and Wailea. I get the dunce award for deleting about 12 pictures that I took of Wailuku and the raod to Hana as well as the 400 ft tall Waimoku Falls (with a walk through the bamboo forest) way cool but no pictures any more :-(

Ayers > Picture of the cottage that we stayed at in Hana. Hana is on the north east coast of Maui. It's a 2-3 hour drive down "hana highway" to get there. Much more low key than the rest of Maui. It's also in the rain forest part of Maui. Rained a few times while we were there but it always cleared up

Ayers > Interior of our Hana accomidations. it's a 2 bedroom cottage with a kitchen and bath. Very nice.

Ayers > This is where we got our bananas for our breakfast. Right off the the banana tree off the porch. Tastes better than the store bought bananas...

Ayers > Hamoa beach outside of Hana. Rated 3rd best beach in Maui by the Maui travel Channel. James MIchner called it the "best beach in the world" I thought it was "pretty nice"...
