Vacation to the Big island of Hawai'i in 2009. We stayed in the Kailua-Kona area of the big island with trips to the other parts of the island.

Ayers > Captain Cook monument on Kealakekua Bay. Very nnice snorkel spot that is being closed to all use in 2012. I'm glad I got to visit before the bay was closed.

Ayers > Lunch on the last day. Down on the tourist strip part of town. 2 cruise ships were in port, Wednesday's are apparently "cruise ship day"... This is the view while we ate lunch. Swordfish sandwich that was yummy...
