Ayers > A picture of the "living room" from the foyer. I call it that but I guess in classic terms it would the "parlor". As you enter the house, there is a foyer that is about 8' x 10' in size. Off to the right is the "parlor" and to the left is a den. The parlor feeds into the dining room. The den is behind me and is just one room with a fireplace.

The cap moldings on the tops of the windows were removed by the previous owners to hang modern style curtins that were a rage back in the 60's. I'm working to get some replacement stock to replace the cap moldings
Ayers > This is an angled shot through the living room (parlor) from the dining room into the foyer. You can see the front door that opens into the foyer.
Ayers > This is a shot from the living room into the Foyer. Beyond the foyer is the stair hall that is in the center of the house. In the first doorway where the floor lamp is, there were at one time room dividers with colonnades that divided the foyer from the living room. There is the ghost in the floor of where they once stood. Beyond the first door way to the second doorway that leads to the stair hall, there were floor to ceiling colonnades that are also missing.
