Front door from the inside. Three diamond insets in the door. This echos the diamond motif on each of the side lights. I wanted to strip the front door to restore it to it's original look. I discovered that at some point the hinges and knob has been switched with the old holes and mortises filled in and then the door was painted. If I stripped the doorm then the old holes, etc. would be exposed. I'm looking to find a replacement door or a reprodiction of the orginal.
